Suggested Remarks for the Vets Town Hall Host
The host/MC introduces and closes the event, handles transitions between speakers, and kindly reminds attendees of the ground rules if necessary.
The host is most often a veteran, but may be a non-veteran who has organized the event. If a veteran, the host may also share their own stories or reflections as a speaker. In either case, the host should not mention their political party, any election/reelection campaign, or pending legislation and political initiatives.
We’ve uploaded a printer-friendly .pdf of the suggested host remarks.
