MSNBC’s Morning Joe: Vets Town Halls give veterans the chance to share their stories
“I think one of the most powerful parts of these town halls is actually how it brings in the whole community. Because there are so many Americans today who respect veterans, who want to help and support veterans, but just don’t even know how to relate to us, because they don’t understand the experience. And so when we do these Veterans Town Halls, yes of course we have veterans speak, but we invite the broader community to come and understand what we all went through, and why it was worth fighting for all the loved ones that we have back home,” says Seth Moulton.
