19 Events in 9 States
This fall, veterans will be invited to speak about what their service means to them, and all community members are encouraged to attend and listen, at events in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio, Vermont, and Washington. These events are spearheaded by local organizers with the aim of increasing understanding and creating connections between veterans and non-veterans in their communities.
This is our first full calendar year as an organization, and we have 19 events in 9 states on the calendar for October/November. In each of those cities and towns, the community will come together to hear veterans speak about what it was like to serve their country.
Our goal is to help establish annual Vets Town Halls in every state – eventually every community – in the US. So if you don’t see an event in your area this year, visit this page to find out how to start an event in your hometown – or consider reaching out to a local veterans or community organization to let them know that you’d like to have a Vets Town Hall in your community.
If you’d like to see this initiative grow, and you’re able to, please consider making a donation. Vets Town Hall is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and we’re a small enough organization that every donation genuinely makes a difference.
